Author Rebecca Fraser launches her new publication, The Mayflower: The Families, the Voyage, and the Founding of America (St. Martin’s Press, 2017) at a special evening reception at Pilgrim Hall Museum on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 7pm. A researcher and journalist, Fraser illuminates the experiences of an ordinary English family, the Winslows, made less ordinary by the challenges of crossing the ocean and settling in an unfamiliar new world.
The evening includes a lecture by the author, book signing, and 17th-century inspired refreshments. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.
Tickets are $8 for Pilgrim Society members. Tickets for non-members will be available after October 24th and are $10 each.
